A delight for every movie lover and a smile for every Hritik and Kareena fan, it has been confirmed that hritik and bebo are back in action together for director and producer Karan Johar’s dharma productions venture - ‘Shuddhi’.
It has been a distant dream for the fans for now over 12 years to see this sizzling hot Jodi on screen once again like in the good old days. Clashes happened, rumors flied around and a lot of messes made them decide not to work again together.
Over the years many of the top directors tried to get to get them to work together but nothing worked like the charm of Bollywood’s King maker, Karan Johar. So the news is that when Karan decided that his film Shuddhi needed the perfect cast to fit its intense love story track, he couldn’t think of anyone else but the most wanted onscreen couple itself. Karan being a good friend to both Hritik and Kareena, neither of them could say a no to the offer. A happy and gleeful Karan confirmed the news in the media and said that he was looking for actors who could bring the desired intensity of the story on to the screen and Hritik and Kareena just fitted right for the roles.
The two actors have set fire onscreen right from the first time they worked together in YAADEIN (2000).The couple were heavily applauded for their chemistry and presence following which they acted together in three more films – KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM (2001), MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE (2002), MEIN PREM KI DEEWANI HOON (2003).But eventually the duo were so much talked about and covered that alleged rumors of a love affair between the two started, which spread like wild fire in media. With Hritik already married To Suzanne Khan, things turned topsy turvy in his personal life with all the drama over this affair rumor. However it all rested over time with Hritik denying the rumors and coming back on track with his family man image. It is said that a heartbroken bebo never wanted to work with Hritik again and since then a safe distance has been maintained by both till date until ‘SHUDDHI’ happened and Karan decided to play the cards to give the audience an intense love story between these ex-flames.
All eyes set on them, these power packed and talented actors have to showcase their best for the level of expectation has definitely risen after a gap of almost a decade. We hope they create magic once again and well yeah a pat on Karan’s back for a job well done.
